Specifically designed for all instrumental and vocal Suzuki teachers, this course will help you to confidently navigate the challenges of 21st-century music studio teaching - while staying rooted in the nurturing principles that define the Suzuki approach. Whether you're an experienced or novice Suzuki teacher, the goal of Expand Your Suzuki Foundation is to broaden your teaching approach by interweaving foundational elements of Suzuki teaching with today's most effective teaching tools and strategies.

This interactive course invites Suzuki teachers to explore a set of pedagogic tools that build on Dr. Suzuki’s pioneering mindset. Strategies that Dr. Suzuki couldn’t have imagined during his lifetime, but provide timely fuel for our work as 21st century Suzuki teachers. Through stories, real life examples, and collaborative discussion, this course provides Suzuki teachers with strategies designed to meaningfully engage today’s immensely diverse student demographic. Participants will see how broadening our teaching approach can strengthen student motivation, teacher resilience, and lifelong music-making.
